Hosting Platform. Once you get recording, you will have to have your podcast hosted somewhere. BuzzSprout is so user-friendly, and even has a free basic website with personalization options. 

Create a Website. Free with Squarespace. 

Website host. Blue Host, I like using Blue Host, as they have a flat one month fee, to get a free guided live agent, if you want to make adjustments to your website as you grow, and become more familiar.

Or, you could hire Sophia to assist you with a more customized site. She is a young savvy podcaster, and business woman, and was a pleasure to work with, upgrading Letters From Home.  

Transcriptions. Adding transcriptions to your episodes and website, can boost your SEO’s.  Descript, has free options. 

Treat yourself and your audience to some swag with Zazzle. They have great seasonal sales, and it is a wonderful way to get buzz about your show in many places, and makes great guesting and hosting gifts as well.  There are hundreds of options, and you can buy just one of something if you want.

 Join a Podcasting community.  It is so helpful to have a community to be able to brainstorm with and support. This first group is all female podcasters. PodcastHer

This second podcast community is coed, and Christian-based.  It is called CPA Gold, and a great value for the price. 

Try Live-streaming! This can be a great way to boost your confidence and up your podcasting game. Here is a company that offers a free level: Streamyard.

Wish List. Nearly every experienced podcaster’s favorite splurge: The Rodecaster Pro. It is a very versatile tool.  You can upload your intros and outros, and sound effects.  The sound quality and mixing options are fantastic, and useful on platforms as well as personal interviews. You will need an XLR Cable to go with this.
