When tragedy comes, it affects everything. But through tragedy, hope can bloom. In the Bible Hebrews 6:19 says “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul…” Heidi’s story is about the hope that has anchored her life. She takes us through her darkest…and hardest days… and in every step you see her faith in her ever present Lord…who is holding her up…guiding her path…through valleys and leading her to beautiful but rocky pastures…pastures of forgiveness…healing…and ultimately, pleasant gardens. Truly our God is the great designer of the landscape of our lives.
Heidi said these verses comfort her. Psalm 71:20-21″You who have made me see many troubles and calamities will revive me again; from the depths of the earth you will bring me up again. You will increase my greatness and comfort me again.”
